Finally, I am leaving Rosings And I am collecting Jane along the way. I can not help but wonder how Lady Catherine would treat me if I had said yes to Mr. Darcy. I think she would treat me better because she would not want to upset her "favorite nephew". Mr. Collins took me aside and said he was grateful that spent time with Mrs. Collins; I feel bad for leaving Charlotte in Hunsford becaue she is still my friend. I do hope to get home soon.
Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI might have treated you different had you said yes. I have no idea how Darcy will remedy his achy heart, and since you are to blame, I hope the guilt is upon your shoulders.
On another note, I wouldn't worry about Charlotte. You even said I'm treating her well. There is nothing to fear, Lady Catherine is here. Meanwhile, you are in Hertfordshire at you home of Longbourn. Charlotte will be fine.
-Lady Catherine
