After the Letter

After I read Mr. Darcy's letter I did not expect a renewal of his offer.  When I read it again I thought long and hard about what he has said and I suppose I could give him a chance, but he has a lot to make up for.  I do hope that mother will not take this the wrong way beacuse I still do not like him; I just think a little better of him.  I wonder what Jane will think of this?
