Mr. Collins Letter

Well I have been home for only a few days when father received a letter from Mr. Collins.  The letter was offensive, to say the least.   He told father that he was grieving the death of his daughter.  Just so you know Lydia has not died, she is just merely missing.  And besides I am sure that she will turn up eventually.  Father did not seem very upset about it but I think it hit a sore spot for him.  Please let Lydia be okay.

Will She Come Back? Single? Married?

When I was discussing Lydia with the Gardiners they assumed that Lydia already wanted to marry Wickham.  I do not wish to believe a word of what they said, but they do make sense.  According to Jane my whole family is very upset and confused.  They seem to have calmed down some when they heard that father was intending to go out and try to find Lydia.  Jane showed me Lydia's letter she sent right before she disappered; it said that she hoped to be married by the time she saw them next.  Please let Lydia be okay.

Lydia? Marriage?

I feel ashamed for leaving Pemberly without getting to know Miss Darcy better but I had to get home quickly.  Yesterday Jane sent me a letter saying that Lydia is missing and that mother was distraught.  I do hope that Miss Darcy will forgive me for leaving.  No one would guess who Lydia has eloped with.  She went off and married Wickham.  Wickham, of all of the officers she could have chosen, she has to choose Wickham.  Mr. Darcy was very understanding about my leaving and I was surprised that he was.  I am still waiting for him to say less than kind words to me.  I hope Lydia is okay. 

At Pemberly with the Darcy's and Bingley's

I have learned more about Miss Darcy ; she has a very good sense of humor and her manners are perfect and gentle.  I did fear the appearance of Mr. Darcy but now I am pleased that he allowed us to tour his home.  Miss Bingley is getting on my nerves because she was badmouthing me in front of others, as well as me.  It felt good to know that Mr. Darcy would stand up for me.  I guess I might have misjudged him a little.

Meeting Miss Darcy

When we went to Pemberly, Mr. Darcy was not suppose to come home until the next day and one would never guess who he wanted me to meet.  He wanted me to meet his sister Georgiana Darcy.  I was very surprised to say the least.  I have never seen such a lovely girl; she is very pretty and graceful. 
I still can not believe what Mr. Darcy's housekeeper said about Mr. Darcy; she said the he has never said an unkind word near her in all the time she has known him.  I wish to make a fact known to everyone that I do not hate Mr. Darcy, I just have slight dislike for himand it is growing smaller.

Going Home From Rosings

Finally, I am leaving Rosings And I am collecting Jane along the way.  I can not help but wonder how Lady Catherine would treat me if I had said yes to Mr. Darcy.  I think she would treat me better because she would not want to upset her "favorite nephew".  Mr. Collins took me aside and said he was grateful that spent time with Mrs. Collins; I feel bad for leaving Charlotte in Hunsford becaue she is still my friend.  I do hope to get home soon.

Off to Pemberly

My father and I have always been close, but one would figure he is the closest to mother but apparently not, you see when they got married they do not understand each other well enough.  A week ago the Gardiners invited me to see the lakes with them, I can not wait.  The day we are suppose to leave Mr. Gardiner had work to do in London.  So, instead of seeing the Lakes we went to Derbyshire.  A day into our trip we were passing by Pemberly and Mrs. Gardiner asked I wanted to see it.  At first I said no because I had no business there.  After a little convincing for Mrs. Gardiner I agreed to go to Pemberly.  I just hope that Mr. Darcy will not tell us to leave.
